Defining coherent advice standards is key to quality development. In this section, you find a selection of advice standards already existing in the various countries and also the common work results of the UBA network on this topic.

Joint minimum standard for business advisors which was developed in 2007 by a transnational work group with start-up advice providers from Asturias, Spain, Castilla y Leon, Spain, Scotland and Berlin, Germany. The group was led by iq consult, Berlin.
The standard comprises the four sections "knowledge, skills, experience and approach" and was developed to create more transparency and quality on the start-up advisor market.
