Developing the Skills of Community Based Business Advisors: Can “UP-SKILLING” Business Advisors help to relieve poverty and social exclusion? Monday 13th September 10 am until 3pm St Martin’s-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London The conference theme is improving the quality of business advice to those who experience poverty and social exclusion. It is an invitation only event. It will be hosted by Ruth Lowbridge, Executive Director of SFEDI and invited are corresponding authorities from the European Union and the UK government. The theme of the conference will be the potentials of community based business advice to support disadvantaged groups of the society. The practical background will be the results of the EU-funded Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme Project “Up-skilling Business Advisors from Communities at Risk of Exclusion in the Labour Market”.
